“In January, I saw the announcement for a Boot Camp which would be offered here at the NCC. My interest was sparked but I thought that I was too old for this type of activity. I asked the members who were already a part of this and was reassured that I could go at my own pace and that KATHY WAS WONDERFUL! I signed up and off I went to my first session. I had bought a yoga mat and some workout clothes to be even more serious about this decision. I have to be honest and admit that the first two weeks were hard and yes I was very sore. I was told to keep coming and that it would get better and IT DID!!! It is now seven months later and I am about to celebrate my 58th birthday. I have not felt this fit and healthy in many, many years. I sleep so much better and my energy level has soared. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to feel better. It does require a certain amount of persistence and work but the results will amaze you, I guarantee it. I purchased skinny jeans for the first time ever last week and I have to admit that I am looking pretty good!

`Le Boot Camp avec Kathy a changé ma vie! Depuis que je m’entraine avec Fitness Anywhere, les bienfaits physiques et mentaux sont innombrables. J’ai arrêté de fumer, j’ai atteint mon objectif de perte de poids, j’accepte les défis du quotidien avec beaucoup d’entrain, j’ai une confiance d’acier, je dors mieux, je mange mieux, bref, je suis une nouvelle personne. Kathy sait nous motiver et nous pousser à aller toujours plus loin. Chaque cours est différent, stimulant et nous fait travailler différents muscles. I’ve been enrolled in the NCC Bootcamp with Kathy of Fitness Anywhere since late last Fall, and I totally love it!!! Kathy is an awesome trainer, she’s great at challenging us and keeping us motivated. Even with a knee injury, I was able to continue the Bootcamp classes by adapting the exercises to my ability. Kathy was very helpful in providing alternative exercises that were easier on the knees. The classes are never the same and the groups are small. I like Kathy’s classes so much that I also go to her studio for a third weekly Bootcamp session! I’ve never been big on “gyms”, but I’m addicted to Kathy’s classes!! The classes are never easy, especially at the beginning, but the results are so worth it!!! My fitness level and health has improved enormously since joining Bootcamp…I’m thinking of running my first race next year (maybe even this Fall)… something I’ve never thought I’d be able to do. I’m always looking forward to my next training session with Kathy!

What do they say about our Personal Training?

I love Kathy!!!! and let me tell you why. I found Kathy from doing a search on Google for personal trainers in Ottawa. I’m a working woman and busy mom of two, so I needed someone who could meet my needs and not the other way around. Kathy comes to my house twice a week and I go to her once a week.

Kathy offers a variety of exercises every time we meet. Sure there are some I don’t like to do but they work. I also like that she has come into my basement and among my junk has found lots of things we can use to exercise, chairs, walls, my children’s mat letters…. She sees the possibilities in my basement, where I only see junk.

She is also very knowledgeable. We have talked about nutrition and other topics related to health. I also choose Kathy for the way she looked, might sound funny but let me explain. When I was looking for a trainer, I didn’t want someone who had veins bulging out of their body, I can see that Kathy is very fit but she is not extreme. I was also looking for someone young with full of energy.

Kathy is always cheerful, happy to see you and sincerely cares.

Another thing that is very important to me, is our schedule and being on time, I’ve been working with Kathy since last November and she has not cancelled one appointment and she has always been on time.

I recommend Kathy every time I get and I am very happy to be working with her.

Dear Kathy

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how very I’m pleased I am. I’ve lost 16 LBS and 12 inches since I started training June 15. It is amazing and I know due to my limitations it will take me a little longer to reach my goal, but I have no doubt that by Christmas I will. Kathy I feel great and last week I tried on a pair of jeans that I haven’t been able to fit in since 2004. Kathy thank you again for your helping me. Bye for now.
