Fitness Anywhere is a family-run Ottawa business that changes lives around the world, and defies the notion that getting fit can only happen within the four walls of a gym. Founded by Kathy Robiatille in 2005 in Paris France, she moved the business to Ottawa in 2010. It is now owned and operated by her and husband, celebrity trainer and nutritionist Andrew Judson. This private personal training studio in the heart of downtown
Ottawa, just steps from Parliament, also sends their expertise around the world with their customized, Online Personal Training and Nutritional Meal Planning. The goal is not
only to see each individual to their own potential, but also to educate about the ways that regular exercise and healthy eating habits can be incorporated into people’s lives no matter what equipment they have. Whether you are training with them one on one in
the studio, taking part in one of their group fitness classes, or accessing your personalized training program online by phone or computer, motivation, personalization and education are what sets them apart from the rest.

Kathy RobitailleKathy Sunshine – Owner, Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor
Kathy has been working in the fitness industry as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer in Canada, England and France since 2004. She trains clients of all levels and abilities, who have a variety of different goals from post childbirth weight loss to sport specific performance enhancement. She also has a Bachelor of Education and experience teaching Physical Education in the British and Canadian school systems, which has helped her to master the art of teaching technique and the importance of tailoring to the learner. Kathy is very knowledgeable, organized and personable.
Her philosophy?
Fitness is not a trend or a phase. It is a lifestyle, and a conscious choice to trade old bad habits for new ones. Everyone has bad days in training, and “fall off the horse” so to speak. If you’re ready for those inevitable ”falls,” you’re better able to recover and “get back on the horse” to continue on the road to success. Achievements in your health and fitness must use the same principles as running a business, learning a language, or raising a family; organization, diligence, discipline and enjoyment. Maggie RafertyPersonal Trainer, Boot Camp Instructor

With over 6 years of experience within the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer Maggie loves helping others achieve their fitness goals. As a current national level powerlifter (2 time national gold medalist), she understands the importance of dedication to training, maintaining a healthy diet, all the while having fun doing it.

Teaching others is her passion and she takes great pride in her work. Her experience as a high school rugby coach and elementary school physical education teacher has given her the skills necessary to work with a variety of clients. Maggie is truly dedicated to the well-being and success of her clients.

Jessica Magnan has been practicing yoga for the last 6 years. Trained in the Hatha Yoga style, she is able to cultivate both physical and spiritual awareness and strength through a deeper understanding of yoga. Her love and passion for yoga grow with every class–always continuing to approach her practice and teaching with the mind of a beginner, Jessica loves to try new postures and classes and share the learning with her students. With a background in gymnastics, running, and general fitness, she has developed a natural affinity towards power yoga as a means of developing strength, body awareness and control. Jessica is excited to be developing an aerial yoga fitness class at Fitness Anywhere which will incorporate strengthening and lengthening of the body while adding an element of weightlessness that will be sure to inspire a sense of play and freedom!

Mark Crossman – Personal Trainer, Muay Thai Instructor

Mark Crossman has been training and competing in fitness and sport his whole life. Starting at a young age Mark was introduced to professional trainers to progress his hockey career through plyometrics, circuits, and weight training. This is where Mark realized his passion for pushing the limits in fitness. This passion developed into some of the most intensive and rigorous training he has experienced yet, a sport called Muay Thai. Mark decided to head to Thailand where the sport originated to learn and live the life of Thai boxing. On his return, Mark realized that teaching and coaching was something he was naturally good at and has since devoted many hours to cultivating his approach. With a broad spectrum of clients, from individuals trying to make everyday life easier to athletes with sport specific goals, Mark can cater to anyone and everyone looking to push the boundaries of their current fitness regime. Although his Muay Thai background does influence much of his fitness approach, the type of training he can offer is accessible to all levels and fitness backgrounds. Mark is a certified personal trainer who brings a lot to the table because of his own unique fitness background which always placed an emphasis on functional and dynamic movement. He is excited to bring another dimension to the already progressive and hardcore work being done at Fitness Anywhere!
