BOOTCAMP - Ottawa and Amherstburg Locations
Bootcamp combines a variety of intensive strength and conditioning exercises performed over timed sequences of 30 seconds to one minute using both body weight and free weights. Circuits are performed in stations and a variety of options are available for all levels from beginner to advanced.
SUSPENSION TRAINING- Ottawa and Amherstburg Locations
This group class combines calisthenics movements and suspending your own bodyweight with straps and ropes. Excellent for a total body workout that emphasizes the core in particular. Beginner to advanced levels welcome.
Relentlessstrong> Ottawa and Amherstburg Locations
A ruthless, tough workout where combination moves that work the entire body are the building blocks to your burn session. Exercises start with A then B, but before C, we have to repeat A, B then C. Before D A, B, C then D and so on until you’re cooked!
SORE to the CORE – Ottawa and Amherstburg Locations
This 45 minute class will have your heart rate up and your core tight in no time! The class will utilize every minute progressing through intervals of core based exercises to full body movements that utilize body weight in order to keep the heart rate up and calories burning.
Silver Strength – Amherstburg Location
This gentle workout is for those in their silver years looking for increased strength, a healthy dose of cardiovascular conditioning and work on balance and flexibility. All movements are low impact and easy on the joints to get you moving in a safe way. Participants of all levels and ages welcome, but workouts are designed with the Baby Boomers in mind.
Man-Up- Amherstburg Location
A men’s only conditioning class that will be nothing but blood sweat and tears, tire flipping, weight pushing, testosterone enhancing manliness. You’ve seen the Axe comercials! They’ve got nothing on us!
PreNatal Fitness- Amherstburg Location
A 45 minute workout video that is suitable for all trimesters and has modifications for intermediate all the way to advanced level athletes. Some of the benefits of exercise during pregnancy include, increased maternal aerobic fitness, promotes appropriate body fat/weight gain, facilitates labour (think endurance here), prevents the onset of gestational diabetes,
improves circulation and reduces the incidence of varicose veins, improves posture and muscular balance (essential to counter the shift in your centre of gravity), improves core strength, increases postpartum recovery, increases self-esteem, self-confidence and helps you cope with the physical changes of pregnancy.
Post Natal Fitness- Amherstburg Location
This one hour workout is geared toward the new mummy, who is easing back into her routine and intends to get in better shape than pre pregnancy. Aside from a full body workout, special attention is paid toward core training, postural corrections and adjustments, prolapse repair and training with rectus diastasis.
BLT – BUTT, LEGS, and TUMMY- Ottawa Location
A lunch time BLT like you’ve never had one. Emphasis is placed on the parts that count! Such as the buns, legs and the core.
Kill the Clock</strong> – Ottawa Location
“Kill the Clock” is a powered up version of the circuit classes that you know and love…just with an added element of challenge – TIME. After a vigorous warm-up and short strength set to get your body firing at maximum efficiency, participants will then perform a carefully planned (gruelling) mixed circuit, competing against both themselves, and the clock. You will get 2-3 tries to better your time. Beginner and Advanced options will be available to try. Weaponry consists mainly of Kettlebells, Plyometrics and the regular host of objects at the Fitness Anywhere studio.
Suspended Aerial Yoga</strong> Coming Soon to Amherstburg Location
Using all of the breathing principles of yoga in combination with the power and strength of Suspension Training, this class will have you strong and feeling rejuvenated. Some of the benefits of Aerial Iso-Yoga are: developing upper body strength, learning to stretch deeper as the fabric helps support some of your body weight, develop a stronger core, improve balance, reinforce body alignment, aide digestion, improve lymphatic function and improve circulation.
